Lars, the little polar bear, lives at the North Pole in a white world of snow and ice. One day he hears a pitiful whine and in an ice crevasse he finds Nanouk, a young Arctic dog. Lars helps him and together they look for Nanouk's family. Nanouk's short-tempered character causes some problems during their search!
